Raban Al Safina Group of Companies is a diversified concern that grew out of one man’s vision to bring manufacturing, knowledge and services back to Iraq. Saadi Saihood saw no reason Iraq, despite its socio-political conditions, couldn’t host a world class manufacturing and knowledge base.

The first company in the Group, established in 1997, was RAS GC, which has a global reputation in the provision of comprehensive electrical infrastructure and components for commercial, industrial and civilian use.

Market demands necessitated diversification and the establishment of other specialized concerns addressing key industrial sectors. Raban Al Safina Group of Companies’ operations currently span electrical infrastructure, oil gas and petroleum, IT, security systems, financial services, and general trading. The Group also offers unrivalled expertise in Siemens SCADA systems for the automation and control, with data acquisition, recording and reporting capabilities.

The Group is shortly expected to expand its remit to generating electricity for Iraq.The total number of Raban Al-Safina employees reached to 500.
